Parents' Association
Our Parents Association was officially formed in 1997-98. From fundraising for our new extensions in 2003, 2009 and 2020 and upgrading our playgrounds to the daily support of the teachers and a determination to ensure that the children want for nothing, all our parents have played a key role in the education of the children.
The Parents Association organise many fund raising events throughout the school year including:
-
Sponsored Walk in Jenkinstown
-
School Christmas Concert
-
Christmas Raffle
-
Table Quiz
The funds from these events allow for the provision of the following:
-
School Maintenance
-
Purchase of equipment and resources
-
Annual visit of Santa Claus and his elf!
-
Subsidising of swimming buses
-

Talks on topics such Transition to Secondary School and Internet Safety have been organised throughout the years. In 2019 the Parents Association organised a training course on the use of the defibrillator for all members of staff and interested parents
