On behalf of the pupils, staff and Board of Management, I would like to extend a warm welcome to St Colman’s N.S. Clara.

St. Colman’s N.S. is a wonderful school community and a real pleasure to lead as Principal since 1997.

I am very proud of the partnership approach to education that exists in our school with staff, Board of Management and parents working in harmony  for the educational welfare of all our children. In education success can often be measured by that indefinable character of any school – its ‘atmosphere’. The whole staff of St. Colman’s N.S. should be very proud of their role in creating the atmosphere that is so regularly commented on by visitors to our school.

The school comes alive each day when over 220 children arrive bursting with energy, character, attitude, good humour and confidence. The children of Clara turn our spacious building into a hive of activity. It is a very busy school.
