Confirmation Class 2019
The school fulfils its responsibility towards the preparation of the sacraments enthusiastically. Each year the class teacher involved prepares the children in a very diligent and professional manner. It is customary for many of the other teachers and staff members to become involved in the art work, booklet preparation and music for the day. It is a tradition for all staff members to attend the celebration of the sacraments where possible.
The school choir performs at all sacramental occasions and the school orchestra plays on First Holy Communion Day.
First Communion takes place every year while Confirmation occurs every second year. The pupils from 5th and 6th Confirmation classes donate money to the local St. Vincent de Paul organisation.

First Communion Class 2016
Our parents are very proactive in ensuring that the children are also prepared through the parish preparation programmes for both Communion and Confirmation and work hand in hand with the teachers.
Our local priest, Fr. Willie Purcell is a regular visitor to the school for occasions such as celebration masses, Blessing of the Throats and Ash Wednesday.
While we are a school of Catholic Ethos, we are also very welcoming of children of other religions.
